Apple Inc. has always been on the forefront of technology. While it’s first wearable device has been launched, mobile developers all over the web are busy creating all kinds of apps designed especially for the Apple Watch’s small screen. Reviewers opine that the Apple watch is so comfortable and handy that they no longer feel the need to pull out their phones in order to check notifications for calls or messages. They are able to interact with a variety of apps and get notified in an easy manner and the productivity of certain apps that cater to social interactions or travel and transport information is even more in the Apple Watch. This is because the watch is a comparatively handier device.
Ever since Apple announced its watch and opened up its WatchKit software in November last year, third-party developers have been working hard to have their apps adapt to the new screen resolution. A whole range of apps to suit the brand’s new wearable platform have been developed.
The Apple Watch Sport, standard Apple Watch and luxury Watch Edition will go on sale across the UK on April 24, with prices ranging from £299 all the way up to £13,500.
“Apple Watch begins a new chapter in the way we relate to technology and we think our customers are going to love it,” chief executive Tim Cook told the crowd at the company’s Spring Forward media event in California on Monday. “We can’t wait for people to start wearing Apple Watch to easily access information that matters, to interact with the world, and to live a better day by being more aware of their daily activity than ever before,†he added.
Like everything else that it has touched, Apple is set to revolutionize the way technology is perceived and used by the masses and brands are working towards putting their best foot forward through the apps specially designed for Apple Watch.
