Google recently had its makeover by changing its logo. The recent one is much simpler retaining the previous 5 colors-red, blue, yellow and green. The changes will also be visible on smallest of screens. The new logo is a compact version that bid farewell to the blue “g†icon and replaced with uppercase “Gâ€.
Google Company said. “As you’ll see, we’ve taken the Google logo and branding, which were originally built for a single desktop browser page, and updated them for a world of seamless computing across an endless number of devices and different kinds of inputs.†Google is making every effort to ensure its products reach every customer. People are likely to pick smartphones, wearable devices whenever they require digital service. “We think we’ve taken the best of Google and recast it not just for the Google of today, but for the Google of the future†they said. Another major announcement made by the Google is that it is breaking from the company’s main Web operations such as research lab Google X and Calico and the new parent company will be known as Alphabet.
The new logo is the biggest change made by Google in the past 17 years. Google features Product sans font which is a primary school eques.
The new logo reflects dramatic changes and the following reasons make sense for the change.
Simplified logo: A slimmer google is being appreciated by the mass. It is easier to draw and see, has less style and more of substance.
Cross platform logo: The new version is cross platform further simplifying Google’s microphone logo pop-ups with the colorful icon and animated dots. Despite the limited space, Google colors are spread at every corner.
